Affection involves touching: parent with child, lovers with each other, friends greeting and departing with a hug, sitting by a bedside holding the hand of one ill, shaking hands. It’s natural for us to do, with most not aware of the most important reason.

We want to go back to a place where God was amazing to us. We want to recapture those feelings and have a matching experience. It is a bit of a disappointment when it is
not the same. Why not the same? Because the experience was never the location. It was the encounter.

Everyone being family surely is still God’s dream. A lot of repair work is going on right now in the heavens and on earth to make this family concept come to fruition.

In spite of all the negativity hitting us daily in the news, believers say “God is in control”. What does that mean – that God is responsible for today’s conditions? Not really.

God is everything, and more. The source is always more than the demand. The supply more than the need.
